Description

The Duotone ePart Battery box with antenna plug is the battery box of the Battery Box Mounting Set and is also sold separately as a spare part. It is specifically designed for board-mounted use and differs from the battery box used with the eHarness, so it should only be mounted on the board and not used with the eHarness.

Unlike the eHarness version, the power cable connector points straight instead of outward, so the cable can be attached easily when the box is on the board. Using it with the eHarness could strain the cable and damage it over time.

It features a dedicated antenna connection for the wire antenna, connected to the receiver inside the bottom of the box and routed through a thin tube under the deck pad toward the nose. This keeps the remote signal more consistent even when the tail of the board is submerged.

Before use, connect and secure both the power cable and the wire antenna, and tighten all connectors to prevent water from entering the box.
